If the objective is to reduce scaffolding in a city, then the policy has to start with increased upfront inspection to avoid increased deterioration over time. By conducting more thorough and frequent inspections of buildings, it is possible to identify and address any issues before they become serious enough to require scaffolding. One way to increase upfront inspection is to use drones for building inspections. Drones can quickly and efficiently cover large areas and provide detailed images and data on the condition of buildings.
